A colourful piece inspired by spring and twin of 'Spring Violets'.
 
I don't tend to paint representational pieces - but a little bird showed up again in this one. I'm enjoying hearing the morning chorus again and the sense of joy in the birds as they build their nests with the anticipation of new life ahead. I hope this painting captures this sense of spring joy!
