This gold and copper colour piece is an ode to the last beech tree standing near my home.
A recent re-development in the area has meant the felling of trees and the lost of a landscape I took for granted.
One beech stills stands in the cemetry beside me - and it's fleeting crown of copper has carpeted the ground with it's burnished bright small leaves.
