This abstract painting came about during my last collection 'Grounded' - when I took a detour off the forest path and decided to use a canvas to purely experiment on a tryout a new approach. I've sat with her now for months, wondering if I should keep working / add another layer. I decided to leave her be. It can be difficult sometimes to know if a painting is done... I usually know the answer to this if I am happy to hang it in my own home / and enjoy it! 
On raining days we look out and wonder....
