This painting was a personal battle for me! I must have changed the sky in this painting 6 times...and it ranged from the darkest grey to pinks, to soft blues. I added an removed texture.
I finally settled on a neutral soft grey -  a balance with the land / seascape and a representation of the typical Irish sky which I see so often.
